I have participated in this competition twice and succeeded both times. The goal is to write 50,000 words of original content for a novel in one month. This averages out to nearly 1,700 words per day for 30 days. I'm actually pretty proud of this one and truly loved the challenge.

About Me:
Why the name Boiling Ink? I like to think of editing as alchemy for the writer's soul--boiling the words down to the ink to make something even better. My friends tell me that is not alchemy and that maybe I need a new name. But, I know how hard it can be to put words to paper and, as an editor, I work hard to maintain the integrity of your words with added clarity, cohesiveness, and grammatical care.

I started Boiling Ink because I wanted to make a living doing something I enjoy. Currently, I edit reports, white papers, outreach materials, and website content for a federal-tribal contracting company, as well as run Boiling Ink, my freelance editorial business.
