About Me:
Words have been my passion as long as I can remember. There is never a time when I am not reading at least one book, and have been known to read the backs of food packages while I eat. I watch movies with the subtitles on. I study grammar and linguistics for fun. In short, I am a word geek.
What surprised me when I started editing is how much research is involved. It's a rare project that requires me to look up nothing, be it the correct spelling of a word or a concept unfamiliar to me. But I love learning new things, so such research is hardly a chore.
I've been editing for nearly a decade, but have just recently started seeking out freelance work. I'm especially interested in editing books and novels, though I welcome smaller projects as well.
