Unfortunately, it does not , but the story's ending suggest that sometimes the best thing one can do when life throws you a curve ball is eat a piece of cake and move on.

About Me:
I am a retired educator having taught in the Greenville County School District for thirty-seven years. I am a housewife, and I am the grandmother of two awesome babies.

I am a published poet. Lord, Sometimes You Love Me Like a Man Who's Done Me Wrong was released in 2011, and I am currently working on a book of essays.

As a freelance writer, I have written articles for Textbroker.com and for Examiner.com. I have taken and completed an online writing course with the Long Ridge Writers Group, and currently I am enrolled in an online copywriting course with AWAI.

I have always loved and admired the power of words, that is why I love writing. As an English and drama teacher I had an opportunity to work with my love of words.
