This book cover is done for a book about writing books for children. I create imagery in the traditional manner... on a drawing board. Then I scan it and do the colors in Adobe Photoshop.

Working for Capstone Press, I illustrated the first graphic novel to deal with a Quaker figure in History. Actually I didn't realize at the time there had never been a graphic novel to tackle this specific subject before.

Working with a committee whose goal was to spark donor interest in a proposed educational facility, I took verbal descriptions from a small group and with some architectual layouts I created an image they could present at meetings.

I am an illustrator/cartoonist that works in a variety of looks and styles. The center character is based on an existing logo for a restaurant. I then created the rest of the combo to fill out a promotional item for that restaurant.
