Said ""Wellington SPCA, amongst other things, investigates complaints of cruelty and neglect towards animals. In some cases, our inspectors are required to interview people suspected of committing an offence/s against the Animal Welfare Act 1999. When we moved to digitally recording these interviews, we realised how much work it is to transcribe the interviews into a typed format. After an appeal was launched looking for experienced people to offer their transcribing skills to assist with this process, Susan Louie responded and has been transcribing our recorded interviews since 2010. I am looking for audio transcription work to do from home (my office) as I live in a remote area on the South West Coast of South Auckland, NZ. Can transcribe in to US English or UK English, whichever you prefer. Current typing speed (copy typing is 105wpm), 80+wpm"
In order to diversify business, I am currently undertaking a Certificate in Medical Transcription at the highest level; so far covering English Essentials (grammar, punctuation, etc), the next module is based on word building using The Language of Medicine.
I am equipped with an Olympus AS-500 transcription kit and accept digital files, WMV, WAV, DSS, etc. Thanks for looking at my profile!
