Greetings! I am entering my 16th year of teaching English in MInnesota public schools. Throughout this time I have seen and graded/edited literally thousands of student papers.
Additonally, for the past five years I have been teaching a freshman composition course from the University of Minnesota - Duluth via the College in the Schools (CITS) program. This course focuses on academic research. Because of this, for the past ten semesters I have assessed and graded over 400 college-level research papers.
Several colleagues come to me regularly for assistance with editing their documents and have told me that my strength lies in fixing their writing without changing their meaning or intentions.
As my own kids are entering elementary school, I am looking for jobs on the side to help...
