The design on this stationery is inspired by 19th century Japanese designs, which were used to adorn silk kimonos. I draw and hand press all of my stationery and invitations.

This is a community for individuals in the New York food business or those who just love food. For the summer newsletter, I created a pattern based around the fresh fruits and vegetables that are often used this time of year. My objective was to create a design that is eye catching and and fresh feeling.

This is a series of maps I drew for a film concerning the origin of Hip-Hop music in Manhattan's Lower East Side. I complied maps from nearly 500 years of Manhattan's history and then drew this series of images. It is very interesting to see that certain markers such as Trinity Church, Wall Street and Broadway are exactly the same as they were nearly 500 years ago.

PRY is a not-for-profit organization located in Brooklyn. It's mission is to help young members of the community through after school programs and mentoring. It also offers adult programs such as English classes to recent immigrants and health programs. I created a brand and logo for PRY, as well as a media kit, business cards and stationery. The media kit is given out to businesses in order to generate donations to PRY's program. So, I went with a clean and corporate design, using images from the photo shoot we had at PRY along with various maps and infographics that I dre

Bogopa is a grocery store chain that caters to an immigrant community, primarily from South and Central America. The store's mission is to carry many of the foods and products that are familiar to people from South and Central America. For the design of Bogopa's media kit and post cards, I went with the theme of a family scrap book. I used old photos from the Mexican side of my family and worked with the Bogopa staff to include family recipes that incorporate the products that Bogopa offers.

This is an independent, old-fashioned ice cream parlor located in Philadelphia. Set inside a Victorian era building, many of the architectural details were restored by the owners. I used the pattern on the original tile floor of the building as inspiration for the brand redesign. This pattern was then carried through all the designs. This is a sample of the menu I created with the tile pattern on front.
