This is the calendar for ICP's The Parachute Club the new brand name I created and the calendar was my idea to create something that was appropriate to the Aerospace and Defense industry. Whatever we sent had to appear to have a value of no more than $15.00 US as their are very tight guidelines how what you can do to create awareness for you brand in this industry. I wanted a campy look and feel that would be complementary to the website we created. The look I wanted to create was a kind of World War II 'flyboy' pin up calendar that was professional and not exploitive and it was good for 16 months and the client could send them to existing customers and you could request one free from the website. Each of the 16 months of the calendar contained great moments in aviation history that I researched and wrote as well as copy that promoted the features and benefits of the brand and had a strong call to action "Make a Date" to meet at the next show etc.

This website is a good example of how I created a brand within a brand. ICP manufactures parachute recovery systems for unmanned aerial vehicles and had no real presence except to attend the large air shows in Paris, London etc. so I created the name that they trademarked The Parachute Club to be used on this website to give their new brand a presence online. As well we created print collateral to give out at the trade shows and a 16th month calendar to keep the brand name in front of prospects and clients as the RFP process can take years to compete for and complete.

This is the website I was the Creative Director on and the writer of the content for Tembec the pulp and paper company featured in the Corporate Magazine. This demonstrates continuity for the brand through the use of the images, the Rubik's Cube metaphor and the tone and manner of the content.

Tembec is a large pulp and paper company located in Canada doing business around the world. I started creating a series of magazine articles to promote a by-product of their pulp and paper process called cellulose. I renamed the product Cellutions and then created a corporate magazine (European oversize) to promote the product, the company, and the people. We ended up placing the ads in the magazine and it was used to put faces to names so people could see who they were dealing with around the globe.

These banners were created for SHSC's trade shows and demonstrates consistency with the look and feel of the Annual Report and Newsletters shown previously.

This is an award-winning example of a complete re-brand I was the Creative Director and writer for. This not-for-profit company had many divisions and there wasn't any consistency with any of their materials such as in this case their Annual Report, their newsletter, and their corporate identity starting with new logos, colours, fonts etc. the 'stick people' illustrations were used in all their new marketing materials.

This is a newspaper campaign I created, wrote and art directed for an Accounting firm that had for the first time been rated in the top ten accounting firms in Toronto. The campaign was very well received by existing clients confirming they had made the right choice, generated new leads from customers who did not know enough about them and helped recruit some top talent away from the larger firms.

These are the sales collaterals that I wrote to support the magazine, radio and web launch of MCI Canada now Verizon Canada. I think this demonstrates my efforts to maintain consistency from a writing and art direction point of view.

These are three magazine ads that demonstrate my capabilities as a Creative Director and writer. I developed the concept for this magazine campaign, wrote 4 radio spots that were part of it and created sales support material as part of the overall campaign to launch MCI now Verizon in Canada.
