I designed, drew, and painted a mural for the children's classroom at my church last month. This mural is entitled "Circle of Heaven" in which it has a beautiful little black girl in it named Anaia. I really enjoyed painting her and all of the other children in it. There are also two dogs and two adults in this mural as we!!!

Although Sidney goes through some awkward moments, he does get to enjoy a delightful lunch with his loyal friend at the conclusion of the story. She tells him that it is his heart, soul, and spirit that really matter.

This painting illustrates the climax of the children's book story I had written and illustrated. It is entitled A Friend For Sidney. The moral of the story is the importance of self esteem. Sidney, (the main character), is shown here in the most embarrassing of moments in which one of his buttons pop off and lands in the gopher's cup of lemonade!
