When I began this professional walkabout down graphics lane I earned my proverbial stripes through the odd freelance pen and ink job doing cartoon work, perspective line drawings, and basic design work for local surveying and engineering companies. I also earned a living as an art teacher for a time. Since then I have focused more on creating character portraits, caricatures, and comic work.
