Mariette Coetzee
Since an early age, Mariette has realized that her talents lie deep in the heart of music. Having experienced various genre of music with particular influence from Fado and French music and from the “African Drum”, she has developed her own unique “From the Heart and Soul” style which has proved popular with everyone, young and not so young.
Born in Bindura, a village in Zimbabwe, and raised in South Africa, Mariette is now a recorded artist, singer, and song writer at I.U. Studios. At the tender age of 18, she came second in a National Singing competition but her father, a preacher, decided she should focus on her studies and put her fledgling music career on hold.
