Cartoon design of Jesus done for practice. I used a lot of blue in this because blue is a calming color. I wanted it to show his sweet and gentle personality. I also did this by adding light effects.

This was a character design for a friend of mine. She requested an old, blind tortoise with a unique cane with a red tip. She said it was for a man she knew. Since this piece was intended for a grown man I left it very cartoony but made the colors less bright. I also showed the end product along with the beginning sketch.

This is a sort of poster design I used to display a bible verse. The soft brown colors are seen almost pinkish. The color pink is known to be very calming. The sandy brown color also shows a sort of aging as it to subconsciously remind you of the time and place where the bible was written.

This is my own personal logo made for my original characters. I have a black silhouette for a white back ground and a white silhouette for darker backgrounds. I used blue and orange as the color scheme because they're bright complimentary colors that are known to catch the eyes of children. Many well known item packaging has this color scheme when directed toward children.
