Thank you so much, John! I'm sorry, but I'm just seeing these good wishes now and I do very much appreciate them!....we have had some circumstances that have kept me from being actively involved with "Freelanced"... just getting back into it now...and I wish the best of luck to you as well!

Said "In the summer of 2006 my husband, Gordon Lysen and I retired, packed up city living and moved to our beautiful lakefront home on the shore of Lake Manitoba. Faced with being the only permanent residents who didn't travel south for the winter, we decided to fill the time with a game that sprang from our mutual love of story-telling. Without ever discussing a plot or characters we began co-writing a book for fun. Gord started by writing a chapter. I read his chapter and added one of my own. He wrote the next and we kept on going, throwing twisits and turns into the mix, waiting to see how the story eventually developed. Our only rules were to not talk about what we were planning to write next or where we thought the tale was going and to respect each other's very different writing styles. What began as a game soon turned into a ****** mystery, filled with what we hope is romance and suspense. "A Deadly Blend of Souls" has been edited and is now in the final publishing stages."

Said "In the spring of 2011 a decision made by the Manitoba government forced the flooding of Lake Manitoba, creating a state of evacuation for residents; cottagers and homeowners alike. Although that decision was made in an attempt to save the city of Winnipeg from raging floodwaters, the resulting devastation along the shoreline of Manitoba's third largest lake was catastrophic. Written in what I believe is both an entertaining and informative voice, my article "Of Biblical Proportions" hopefully appeals to the imaginnation while giving some insight into the resulting great tragedy. Not intended to have any political flare, it is meant only to convey the powerful experience of living at the lake during the greatest flood to strike the province in hundreds of years and to entertain!"
