Sienna’s Hope is a small, home-based business dedicated to offereing the public quality handmade products that reconnect people with the idea of craftsmanship and personal choice in a market flooded with mass duplication, few options and poor quality. Sienna’s Hope is built around customer flexibility, need driven products, fun ideas and beautiful unique gifts. Through the use of, not only new and practical materials, but also repurposed items, Sienna’s Hope provides products that help save the environment, supplies creations that attract individual personal style and give back to local and much needed community organizations through partial proceed donations provided through each purchase. This being said, Sienna’s Hopes identity was created with a hand-made/written feel and is influenced directly by the memory of Sienna Hope.

The design for 99 Gymnastics was created with the intent of feeling fun and inviting. The designer avoided leaning towards a certain age demographic so that the logo would be appropriate as the gym expands into the adult category as well. This was done with a fun, rounded font for the childish half, and incorporated the sihlouette of an adult. The colours are an obvious match, being opposite on the colour wheel, but together they are legible, bright and aren’t too closely matched with major colours found around the gym such as mats, trampolines and other equipment. The designer did this with the intent of having the logo not fade into the surroundings when used inside the gym.

About Me:
Hi! I'm Lauren Hope & I'm a freelance graphic & web designer living in White Rock, BC.

I was born & raised in Surrey, BC which is where my beginning as a computer geek, avid doodler & coding hobbyist began. From EnterNexus to Nexus to Nexopia to MySpace, code was always an attraction to me. With animated gif's being 'all the rage' and fancy colours everywhere I kept myself busy creating & recreating every page I could, including creating my own pixel based dolls starting in Grade 5. My doodle addiction led to a computer desk marked up with sharpies & a computer screen full of basic HTML.

It wasn't until quite a few years later after completing an Accounting & Business Technology Diploma, a Business Administration Diploma & landing a Client Account Specialist job at a local...
