• While obtaining a minor in music from Messiah College, I studied classical guitar technique
with professor Randall Zwally, who holds a master’s degree in guitar performance from
West Chester University.
• Was a member of the Messiah College Guitar Ensemble.
• Was the sole guitarist for Messiah College’s top jazz ensemble, Jazz One, under the
direction of Dr. William Stowman.
• Studied a mixture of jazz, rock, blues, country, bluegrass, and classical guitar with Chris
Davis, professional sound technician and guitarist of the pioneering Christian pop/rock
group
