Funny story about these two.. There used to be a night club in Tacoma called "The Siren Lounge". It was a great place for hanging out and watching shows, but they used to have these hideous pictures of poorly drawn mermaids all over their walls. One night, I asked the owner "If I make you some mermaid paintings, will you hang them in here?" After seeing some of my other work, he said yes. SO, I began the process of creation. Alas, about half way through the first one, "Hearts Desire" [left], the nightclub was shut down due to code compliance issues. What a bummer! I was so upset. That didn't stop me from finishing though, and I continued with the other piece I had planned called "Dangers Ahead". These occasionally venture out into sundry gallery showings, but largely reside at my humble abode. Created with Prismacolor chalk pastels and charcoal on Canson paper.

these are stunning, absolutely beautiful fine artworks. even tho' they didn't go where you first expected, they have a life of their own well worth the work.

Spencer Crown: What do you get when you combine a royalty-free stock photo with a posing coworker, some random patches lying around the office, and some major wicked Photoshop magic? You get a model mockup for Spencer Crown, a varsity jacket company, that's what!

Tam Skylights: These were done with a plain ole' mouse in Adobe Photoshop *before* having the luxury of a Wacom tablet. I would like to point out that these are NOT photos! I digitally illustrated every one of these for the skylight company and it was a very tedious project. I also created animated video content for their website, as well as their brochures.

Fallen Angel: This was a piece done for personal enjoyment. I had just been gifted a Wacom intuous tablet, and wanted to see what it could do. This was my character rendering. As you can see, the shadows are translucent. Eventually, I will come up with a background. I have a few ideas I am currently playing with. Created in Adobe Photoshop.

You might have seen these warming up hands and bellies if you live in Washington state. The clients did not like any of the previous designs from other designers and were very frustrated, and I was asked to give it a shot. This one was a success! Not only did I help save their contract, but the client liked them so much that they used the same design two years in a row. Talk about awesome! These cups are the final product and were grabbed from a local drive-through. Created in Adobe Illustrator.

This was done for the same client I produced 'Movement Project' for, except this was for his band logo. Every scratch and distress mark has been individually placed there by yours truly. Additionally, all the typography (yes, there's a whole alphabet) and album artwork was done by me. This is a picture my client sent me of the final product. I created the logo, design layout, and all the artwork for both his LP and EP. He was very pleased with the result!

This logo was created for a good friend of mine who runs his own personal training business and also happens to be an accomplished musical writer and artist. This web piece was created in Adobe Illustrator. There is also a non-shadow print version, and a shortened "MP" version of this..

This was a rush logo project for Revolution 24/7, a youth ministry. When I say "rush", I mean the original designer for this project fell through and I was asked in desperation if I could step in and save the job. I had 4 hours to come up with something without any guidance or inspiration. All I knew was that it needed to go to press the very next morning, and had to be something teenagers would feel good about wearing. I came up with 3 different versions, and though they loved all of them, this was the one they ultimately chose. Created in Adobe Illustrator.

This was the full-color version of my business logo. I freelanced professionally for a few years before getting snagged up as a full-time employee by one of my clients. Now I'm back, but under my actual name vs. an alias. This was created in Adobe Illustrator.
