A personal blog that i posted on my Wordpress site. I typically write about faith and would consider that my primary passion and expertise. See more from my Wordpress site here: http://moveyourfeetandfeelunitedwoahwoahwoah.wordpress.com/

This is an example of a blog post that I wrote for Dale Suslick and as Dale Suslick. I tried to incorporate some of his style into my writing. Other similar examples of ghost writing may be found on http://lostonemillion.com/

My favorite (and probably the most depressing) of all fiction pieces I've written. This, in contrast to the other fiction piece I posted, displays my mastery of the short story. I believe this encompasses a wide range of fiction elements, such as character development, dialogue, and sensory descriptions. I also include a lot of psychological elements here, as that was my focus of study in college. I wrote this piece for a creative writing class I took my senior year of college.

This is the second chapter of a story I'm currently working on. The basic gist of the story is that the main character, Shannon, tries to help a dysfunctional young man out of his depression, only to have him commit ******* in the end. However, she realizes that her time spent trying to help him wasn't wasted, because it actually helped her to work through many of her own problems. I included this chapter because it includes the most vivid and intense scene of the story so far (fighting scene at Panera Bread). I think it shows my strength with dialogue and developing characters, which I believe to be my best-developed areas of fiction writing. I attempted to use some descriptive language as well, though I would consider that something I'm working to get better at. I may post more sections of this work in progress as I get further into it!

This is an e-book I wrote for Dale Suslick and lostonemillion.com. This displays my ability to integrate several ideas into a well-organized and flowing piece. I was also somewhat involved in the editing process. The e-book is available on Amazon.com here: http://www.amazon.com/Woo-Power-ebook/dp/B00668RS8M/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1321165823&sr=8-5

Out of all the blogs I wrote for my previous writing job at lostonemillion.com, this one received the most views. I'm proud of the catchy title and think it displays my ability to write more of a bullet-point style blog. This, as well as the other work I've posted on lostonemillion.com, is more of a how-to piece than a story or article. Click here to see more of my writing at lostonemillion.com: http://lostonemillion.com/today/ Note: none of the newer blogs are authored by me--my last blog update on this website was posted two weeks ago and can be found on page two in the blog section of the site.

A blog characteristic of the way I write. I tend to write my blogs like stories/articles/pieces of a book rather than bullet points, though I am able to write in that style as well. This was posted on the Christian social networking site Soul-to-Soul, and is slightly geared toward business people of faith. In order to match the goals of my previous writing job working for business owner Dale Suslick, I've geared much of my writing toward this audience.
