Is this similar to the Schoolhouse Rock style?

Yes. The scrunched up lettering is very much in the style of Schoolhouse Rock. The house is similar, but less so. Is this the style that you had in mind? If you are interested, I would be happy to create and send to you a drawing of the characters from your song. Is there a specific look to them that you would like? Do you have reference pictures, or should I just send you a concept sketch?

About Me:
My name is Kent Whittington and I am a freelance artist out of Orangevale, CA (Sacramento area). I have done ad work for company logos, signs, badges and patchwork, as well as character design illustrations and T-Shirt design (my favorite - art you can wear!). I am a sketch artist with knowledge of digital graphics (Adobe Photoshop CS6 is my workspace!) I have been drawing, sketching and painting my entire life and have a wide range of artistic talents beyond those listed here.
