About Me:
Ken Scotty is a character designer and animator in his third year at The Art Institute of Las Vegas. He was born in Ft. Myers, Florida but raised in Henderson, Nevada. Scotty graduated from Coronado High School in 2005 and went on to enlist in the United States Army in 2006. He served two tours in Iraq with both the 82nd Airborne Infantry Division and the 1st Cavalry Division as a Humvee driver and .50cal gunner. He was honorably discharged from the Army in 2010 and immediately began attending classes at The Art Institute.

All his life, Scotty wanted nothing more than to be an animator. He began doodling dinosaurs at the age of 4 and characters of all kinds not long after. At the age of seven, he was trained in the fine arts by a local Ft. Myers artist named David Meo, who taught Scotty...
