A remodeling project for the Texas governor's mansion came about where they wanted the Texas state seal on each of the door knobs throughout the home. The state seal was taken from their website and applied to the face of a custom door knob in 3D. Unfortunately, due to a fire at the mansion the knobs were never manufactured.

A local machine shop was celebrating a 25 year anniversary, located in Pennsylvania, and needed a plaque to show during their open house. Given little direction, the attached 3D model was created and sent to their facility. During the open house, the plaque was being cut into aluminum on a 5-axis CNC mill. Smaller versions were made for the employees.

OMG Fasteners needed a 3D model for a zinc prototype. They supplied a 2D AutoCAD file as a starting point. After a few iterations and tweaks made by one of their engineers the attached image is the final design. Modeled in Pro/Wildfire v4 and prototypes were made using the spin casting process.

MGM in Las Vegas wanted a unique design on their high roller suite entrance doors. This design was created based on a Royal Flush and CNC milled into the lock escutcheon (decorative plate that covers locking mechanism).

A client needed to redesign a drill attachment that they used in the field but had several issues with. A sample of the current design was sent, reverse engineered, prototyped (SLA and metal) and production drawings created.

A gaming client required keychains for an upcoming show and they needed to be cast in a zinc alloy. A black & white line art drawing was sent over by the client and 3D models were generated. The 3D models were then sent to a spin casting prototype company. Due to the very short time line, the final 3D models were released within 2 days after receipt of order.

About Me:
My services help provide an outlet to develop new products or to update old designs to current standards by utilizing the latest 3D technologies available. Having over 16 yrs. experience with engineering & design, mainly using Pro/E Wildfire (now Creo), I feel that I can assist with day-to-day & project matters. My onsite experience includes administration of PDM & PLM systems (Intralink & Windchill), 3D training for new users and extensive work in R&D from small companies to large corporations.
I am available to work onsite but it will depend on the location, travel needed and current work schedule.
