Large, fun pop-art portrait; comic-bookish in style but still keeping a likeness of the subject matter, these pieces bring a lot of joy and are extremely fun to do! 4x5 feet.

This toad or frog is obviously having a bad day. It reminds me of my adult fiction novel, "The Frogs are the First to Go," which has to do with a frog species once thought to be extinct, being found in a family's backyard. It is a wacky Vonnegut like story that begins in S.F. and mostly takes place in Eugene, OR where I lived for many years.

About Me:
Writer, painter and illustrator seeking to avoid real work as much as possible...

I've written everything from humor to pop-culture to straight-up journalistic reporting to fiction and children's literature. I'm also a painter and illustrator, skilled in pen and ink, watercolor, acrylic, oil, pencil and charcoal. From designing a theater poster to illustrating a comic book to painting a portrait, I can adapt my skills to whatever the project needs. My website came free with my computer and I'm strangely proud of its terribleness.
