Gallant Education Inc. is a fast-growing educational support company and is looking to expand with an online English study platform that aims to provide online English education service to our Chinese students. Our innovative platform is dedicated to sustaining improved teaching services with a mission to help students achieving their academic and lifelong success. Our lessons are interactive, kinesthetic, and incorporate creative teaching methods not found in regular classrooms.

We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist who shares our commitment to helping students reach their highest communicative potential. The role is to provide services including, but not limited to, accent modification, enunciation, social pragmatics, public speaking, and presentation skills. The addition of this special professional service encourages students to become confident in the way they speak. We believe it is an empowering tool when one is improved with the speaking skills, others will pay attention to what you are saying, not how you are saying it.

What we offer:

Flexible work hours (weekend availability required)

$ 40 - 60 an hour

Requirements:

Education: A Master’s Degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology.

License: Must be registered or licensed in good standing to practice.

Proof of professional liability insurance.

Access to a computer with Zoom, good quality microphone, webcam, and strong internet connection.

Ability to work independently, and is self-directed.

Possess strong communication (oral and written) skills with the ability to engage others.

Possess strong time management and organizational skills.

Be courteous, positive, and professional

Be committed to providing empathic professional care to clients, including cultural sensitivity.

Primary Responsibilities:

Consultation, assessment, and treatment of communication challenges via virtual care.

Design an individualized treatment plan using evidence-based information, relevant best practice guidelines, and clinical expertise.

Evaluate the effectiveness of the modification, the client’s response, and progress towards achieving goals, and adjust the treatment plan as needed.

Manage your own records of client progress, goal attainment, assessed needs, etc.

Monitor client progress toward goals and adjust treatment plans and sessions as needed.

Actively engage clients, families, and caregivers to ensure sessions are tailored to client goals.

Provide workshops as deemed appropriate.

Preferred experience:

Previous experience working 1-on-1 with children and adults

Previous experience working with accents
