I have written a unique more adult orientated poem where every stanza is an image of the prairies and trains themselves. It is a poem about train trip through Saskatchewan and the images seen through the plate glass as they whizzed by.If you are from Saskatchewan, are prone to long drives through the prairie, love gravel roads, know what the color of green slime on sloughs that are ringed with cat tails is, you send love to lonely trees, have lived in Saskatchewan for decades, know of the 'old prairie' of rusty tractors, older people, have seen farmers come in covered in topsoil, wave to farmers still, in short you must have the prairie in your blood and soul. You may be the illustrator for this sweet poem I am looking for. My poem is filled with imagery, more-so a picture book than a poem. Payment is negotiable for this collaborative project and have fun with it!
