I am looking for someone who is willing to speak to our professional writer's organization (15-20 attendees) and answer questions about process of translating a story to graphic novel & basics of storyboarding. We would like to know the craft as well as business side -- how to contact an artist, proposals, commissions, etc. Our group ranges from new writers to bestselling, award-winning authors and independent publishers. This is meant to be an informative session to educate authors and introduce them to new media. Talk is one hour. Looking to schedule some time in 2020. Our meetings are third Saturday of the month, typically at Kirkwood Public Library. Ideally the presenter will have a short prepared talk with examples of work to fill about 30-40 mins with time allotted for Q&A at end.
