We are in search of a Payroll Coordinator for a PART TIME position. The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for processing payroll, performing account analyses and monthly reporting of payroll information. Candidates should have proven experience using ADP software and be capable of creating reports and extracting information from ADP and SAP work systems as well as a good working knowledge of the payroll function, including compensation, related taxes and benefit issues. Strong analytical and problem solving are necessary. Principal responsibilities include the following:
Accurate processing of weekly and monthly payrolls, including but not limited to proper identification of payroll hours and deductions
Interact with internal and external customers to resolve payroll related matters
Interact with financial, pension and internal auditors to provide necessary payroll information
Interfacing SAP general ledger time costing system to ADP for updating of payroll and human resource records
Preparation of monthly payroll journal entries
Balancing payroll records to federal and state payroll tax returns and preparation of federal and state reports on an as needed basis
Preparation, reconciliation and transmittal of 401(k) information to plan administrator
General ledger payroll related account analyses (payroll liability, tax withholding and voluntary or involuntary withholdings), including recognition and resolution of unusual transactions
Preparation of month end payroll reports, including but not limited to payroll and overtime variance reports
Prepare ad hoc reports in SAP and ADP as requested
Maintain payroll system accumulators used for easy identification of cumulative income and deductions

Requirements
Associates degree in Accounting or Bookkeeping preferred, but not required
3 years of experience
ADP & SAP experience
