"The Conquerors" are a team of superheroes dreamed up by detained youth and visualized by me. Youth at Pinellas Regional Juvenile Detention Center (PRJDC) created origin stories and envisioned their heroes, and I hybridized the youth submissions creating one character for each housing mod. A really cool project to help give these kids a 'mascot' so to speak.

About Me:
J. Briscoe Allison, has been working as a professional illustrator and designer since 1997, designing everything from tee-shirts and billboards, to storyboards and character concepts for animation and film. Allison studied comic art and sequential storytelling at The Kubert School based in Dover, New Jersey. There, he honed his innate artistic abilities, and learned to translate his perception of the world as a series of picture panels and word balloons into ink on the page.
Allison currently lives in High Rolls, New Mexico, where he works as an illustrator, writer, musician, and voice actor. He enjoys reading, watching films, and hanging out with his partner, Saori, and their dog, "Beans."
