About Me:
JANIE THOMPSON-LIDE FINE ARTIST / ILLUSTRATOR Janie Thompson-Lide was born in New York City and moved to New Jersey in 1988. She has been a resident of South Brunswick for the past ten years and presently lives in Dayton with her husband and two children. Art has been Janie's passion since age 11. She has taken various art and illustration courses at the School of Visual Arts, Art Student League, Parsons School of Design, and the Fashion Institute of Technology, all located in New York City. Janie has taken art classes in North Brunswick and Highland Park, New Jersey. Janie believes in order to sharpen your skills, an artist should continue to hone their craft.
