I'm an author of 3 books of poetry. "Black woman: In My Soul" and "So Black, So Beautiful: Black Woman". Those two were written under my previous name of Danita Michelle (Shelly) Chatman-Berry. "Love, Black Love" is my most recent work, and it is penned under my current legal name of Danita Michelle (Shelly) Allen.
