Employment History November 2011 to February 2013 – SMR Production Studios Following my transition to SMR Production Studio I took the role of junior editor and worked on the post-production of TVC ads, online content and corporate videos. My experience enabled me to developing industry standard editing skills for large brands and clients such as Jetstar, Coles, First Choice Liquor and David Jones. Specifically I was producing the retail ads and corporate work for Jetstar. In this role I was able not only improve my technical abilities but also gained a broader understanding of client / agency interaction. As a result of a restructure at the company I decided to move on and look for new challenges. May 2011 to November 2011 – Big Red Group I joined Big Red Advertising as their Junior Digital assistant working on digital content/ online banners for Coles supermarket. I worked in the finance department as an office assistant administrator on a part time basis. Duties included general office and administration including data input in the computer system. My name is Sarah Marie Miller. I am a 39 yr. old Native American mother of 3. I am also a musician. I started playing the piano at age 3 and taught myself to play the guitar when I was 13 and I have been singing for as long as I can remember. I found out that I had a gift for writing as I got a little older. I have this thing that I do (I started doing it in prison, actually), where I personalize poems for people. I gather information about the subject and get a feel for what they were trying to convey and then I would put it in pretty words for them and wallah! I made girls cry all the time when I would read them the finished product so I know I do good work. So I thought I would see if I could just keep on doing something just like that in the free world and make really god money doing it. Eventually I want to have a career in music but right now I just want to see what I can do with the writing part of my gift. I am brand new in the writing world, so I could use some good advice. I look forward to meeting your lyrical needs ASAP. Yours truly, Sarah.
