My knowledge base is broad ranging from global and national politics to fishing and hunting; from fine wine to power tools. By day I am a construction professional and have 18 years in woodworking and carpentry experience. While earning my degree in journalism, I wrote for fishing and hunting magazines and have been doing feature articles on skiing, whitewater rafting and river system conservation. I’ve worked as a stringer making hunting and fishing forecasts and reports fun to read. I also worked for years in fine dining and was a wine buyer for a busy Italian restaurant for five years. My broad base of knowledge and thirst for new issues and information through research skills developed as a reporter have serve my writing well.
