I have been a translator/transcriber for the US military. I was a Russian Linguist, and as such I would listen to live transmissions and translate then transcribe them for reports. All work was done with live vocal transmissions, often on crackly equipment from thousands of miles away. I am also a blogger and a creative writer, mostly for my own enjoyment, but would love to move forward with this as a career. I do some proofreading and editing for a few friends of mine who are also writers, as well as book blurbs. I can type between 60-70 wpm with little to no errors and over 10,000 kpm on the 10-key
