Christina L. Bozeman Veteran* Bright * Hard Working * Great Communicator Writing is a huge part of my life. At an early age, my world was opened up by books; I believe that was the avenue that steered me towards writing. My devotion to writing started then, and it has been thriving ever since. I am prior active duty military, and I am presently serving in the Air Force Reserves. In the Air Force, I am a Public Affairs Specialist, and I write for a monthly magazine. Working with the public and my fellow service members has taught me to really stop and listen in order to find the best solution for any situation. Serving my country has helped me have a keen eye for attention to detail in all that I do. From maintaining open lines of communication to deadlines and budgeting, I take pride in everything and make sure I do it thoroughly. Through life experiences and being a practiced writer, I believe I have a lot to offer. The military has afforded me countless adventures and instances where it is clearly evident that there is always something new to write about and a new way to express it. Being a story teller, whether it’s over a campfire or in a 30-second commercial, is an art form. However, being able to tell that story in a clear-cut and comprehensible manner is a gift to behold. Working as a freelance writer would be a priceless experience and allow me to grow as a writer. My love for putting pen to paper and the desire to continue sharpening my skill is why I would truly value the opportunity to work at your company. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you! Sincerely, Christina L. Bozeman Christina L. Knowing is a soul’s experience. By realizing a portrait, painting the eyes, cheeks, lips, hair, we experiment a way to get to know the dreams, ideas and pains of the person portrayed. But it is also a way to dissolve ourselves and to immerse into one another. By noticing this close communion, we get in contact with ourselves. We know how the other feels. Through the nuances which make up our vocabulary, we slowly become conscious we are portraying ourselves. In these portraits the first layer of colour depicts the structure, the marrow, the foundations. It is intense, solid. It talks about the Earth. The second describes the character, the structural rigidities, the deep muscular tensions. It talks about the Fire. The third describes the ambits of consciousness which at times let anxieties and the unconscious transpire. It talks about the Air.
