Over the past 6 years I have a taken a variety of studio classes to build a set of focused art skills. These classes have included Design Fundementals, Computer Graphic Design, and Illustration. Through my graphic design program I have been introduced to numerous programs and skills that have become indispensable to my workflow. I am comfortable in Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Maya, and Mudbox. I also have produced work using Premiere, InDesign, Z-Brush, and HTML and CSS programming. Still, I find that self education has become my most effective means of growth and I continue to take on challenges outside of my regular classwork. Drawing is my primary focus and strongest ability. I love putting pencil to paper (or stylus to tablet) and bringing new life to my imagination. I have been doing so for as long as I can remember. My passion is animation (2D and 3D), and I enjoy studying motion and movement. I am mainly a character artist, and enjoy the challenge of making a new character to fit a situation. I am currently teaching myself 3D character creation and animation. The joy that comes from successfully going from an idea, to a drawing, to a moving 3D character is unrivaled. My goal is to work in the field of 3D animation in games, movies, or television. Currently I am accepting contracts for freelance illustration and graphic design.

I can make a song on almost any subject in not much time. I love the lyrics of Warren Zevon especially. My favorite band is Pink Floyd. The first I was 15, on acid, at a 2,000 seat arena. CCR played an 18,500 Stadium nearby the same night. I was an experience of a lifetime. After the concert I was so blown away, I couldn't shut up about how great Pink Floyd were and would soon claim the title of the Real World Heavyweight Classic Rock Band of All Time! When I went to the men's room, there 2 "hippies" qwashing up or something. I was in their faces about how great Pink Floyd were. Someone wh saw told I was telling this to Nick Mason (He did say "Thanks Lad") and Roger Wright. So I'm just here to accept full credit for giving these members of Pink Floyd the encouragement they NEEDED, at the right time, that helped them go on to be the greatest and never to be surpassed, band of all-being space-time.
