Drawing has been my method of escape, coping, and differentiation since grade two. As an American Army Brat born in Germany and growing up in the Eastern U.S. and Thailand, my exposure to and interest in global perspectives, combined with fantasy and humor, have influenced my art. I spent about 15 years freelancing mostly newsletters and print, and then another 15 working web, media, and marketing for other people. Now I am ready to try something new focusing on what I love most. Something I offer which is less common but more interesting, and, frankly, fun. At the moment, my focus is puzzle portraits of famous musicians. What could be more fun than blending music, drawing, and games?

Hello everyone! I am a freelance illustrator currently working out of NYC. I have a BFA in illustration with a minor in art history.I am currently looking for work in a wide range of markets; children's book, education, editorial, advertising. My work ranges from strong realism, to whimsical characters. I make characters real in their own narrative world and try to deal with different concepts and issues in a fun and humorous way. My first children's book was just published in June entitled "I love the Skin I'm In". I am also looking for commission work, portraits of people, houses, pets or anything else. I am proficient in watercolor, acrylic ink, pen and ink, pencil and digital art. Mainly, I work traditionally but am skilled in digital art and take full advantage of what technology has to offer. I am very motivated and driven to work hard for my goals, and make the best and most marketable work possible, even on a tight deadline. I can also design logos, business cards, greeting cards, calendars, anything! Please take a look at my website for more examples of my work, and feel free to contact me with any questions.
