The spring 2006 seminar was conducted in conjunction with the National Park Conservation Association’s regional office in Ft. Collins, Colorado (Kelly Courkamp, Cultural Resource Program Manager). The cultural assessment component of NPCA’s “State of the Parks” program is based on six criterion: archaeological resources, cultural landscapes, ethnography, historic structures, history, and museum and archival collections. Research was supplemented by an on-site graduate student visit to Lewis and Clark National Park. Two deliverables: Performance Indicator Questions and a Narrative Report. $1,000 stipend.
