I am an artist who's getting back into the field. I am currently in the process of upgrading my portfolio because my current one is a little outdated. I can draw just about anything that I see (portraits, still-life, anything), and I can also freestyle from my subconscious. My influences are Dahli, Degas, Basquiat and Magritte. I would love to work with a large range of poeple who share the same passion as I do for art. I am not a cartoonist or whatever other label people like to place on themselves, but if I had to choose one...I am simply an artist who finds inspiration everywhere I go.

Jacob Dupre is a fifth generation musician from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and is a 2014 graduate of the prestigious Eastman School of Music. Accomplished far beyond his age of 22, he plays piano, trumpet, bass, drums, and is a vocalist and composer. He began his formal music training at the age of four, and early on showed a gift for jazz. Jacob studied privately, and while a student playing in elementary and middle school bands, he was selected for All Parish ensembles and participated in Jazz Festivals, earning top scholarships and awards. As a high school musician, he was selected to both Jazz and Classical All State Ensembles on both piano and trumpet. He also attended various festivals and workshops such as the Loyola Jazz Workshop & Festival in New Orleans, the University of North Texas Jazz Festival and Vocal Jazz Workshop, the Florida State Summer Workshop, the Eastman Summer Jazz Workshop, and the Birch Creek Music Academy in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin, earning high accolades and awards in all events. While attending Baton Rouge Academic and Performing Arts Magnet High School, Jacob studied classical and jazz piano with renowned Louisiana musicians and educators, Willis Delony and Mike Esneault. After graduation, he went on to pursue a degree in Piano Performance in Jazz Studies at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. At Eastman, Jacob studied with esteemed faculty, namely, Harold Danko, Bill Dobbins, Tony Caramia, and Dariusz Terefanko. He had the honored tutelage of jazz greats such as Fred Hersch, Brian Dickinson, and Danny Grissett and shared the stage with outstanding musicians and composers such as Peter Erskine, John Fedchock, Bob Sheppard, Charles Pillow, Dennis Mackrel, Bill Kirchner, and Bill Holeman. Jacob is a former member of the Eastman Lab Band, Eastman New Jazz Ensemble, Eastman Chamber Jazz Ensemble, and the Eastman Jazz Ensemble directed by Bill Dobbins. He was a member of the Dave Rivello Ensemble and performed regularly as a leader and side-man in ensembles throughout the Rochester area. Since the age of six, he has been an active member of his faith community and remains so, serving as a pastoral musician and accompanist. Jacob is honored to continue the music legacy which began with his great, great uncle, Edward “Pinky” Gerbrecht, who was a pioneer New Orleans Jazz trumpeter and classical violinist. Jacob is now pursuing a master’s degree at the University of Texas at Austin, while leading a bright career as a performer, composer, and teacher. ?The music performed or composed by Jacob Dupre includes every style of music – jazz standards, swing, ballads, latin, funk, rock, and more.
