I am a teacher with seventeen years experience. I have an A level (grade A) in English Literature and a degree in Physics. My professional qualification is a PGCE in secondary science teaching. I did teach Chemistry for a year at secondary level, but then switched to primary. All this, together with a good knowledge of IT and wide reading in English and American Literature has furnished me with a good background in decoding a wide range of texts and an appreciation of style, register and special vocabularies. My reading has covered adult and children's fiction, academic and popular science, school textbooks and history. Also, I have a good reading knowledge of French.
