Christopher Freeman studied Theatre Arts at Ryerson University and has appeared in nearly forty professional productions across Canada, on stage, film and TV. He spent three years with Theatre Animation, conducting and coordinating hundreds of acting workshops throughout Ontario, and nearly five years working as a private acting coach in Toronto and Vancouver. As a founding member of the Toronto based comedy troupe, “Shy One Horse”, he wrote, acted and directed numerous sketches, appearing in clubs and on television. He also produced their entry, Hollywood North for Toronto’s Fringe Festival. In 1999, after moving to Quebec, Chris launched The Actor’s Workshop, in the Eastern Townships. Designed to discover the specifics of acting in a safe pressure-free environment, he encourages moving away from performance clichés while exploring the motivation within. He also taught On-Camera courses, for two years, at the New Actor’s Workshop in Montreal. Chris was a project animator for a 29-week, provincially funded, community outreach program for youth-at-risk. The Arts addressed themes such as vandalism in Brome Missisquoi. He co-found storyland3, in 2001 and went on to produce and direct nine plays with them, including Broadway Valentine, Cinderella, After the Ball and Letters Home. In 2003, Chris received Service Canada funding to run The Rural Theatre Project, an eight-month program in production-based environment. As Creative Director, he developed five more project-based programs throughout southwest Quebec; each designed to empower young adults with life and employment skills while focussing on sustainable community development. Over his career he has been involved with dozens of fundraisers and benefits for various community organizations and NGO’s. He has served on several Boards including MUCS (Montreal Urban Community Sustainability) and the Knowlton Players. He developed a feasibility proposal for Renaissance Centre, a multimillion dollar complex to foster social economic development through culture and tourism, and was a member of a Research Lab at Concordia University on the social economy. Along with his dozen plays mounted, Chris has written several films including the short, Cooked, a Toronto Film Challenge finalist. He has an extensive background in promotion including three years of direct marketing and is currently developing several projects including a feature film and a television comedy series, entitled No Business. “As we learn to develop technique we in fact enhance creativity; for it is structure, in work, in art, mainly in life, that frees the imagination and enables us to truly fly.”

I'm a 22 year old free lance illustrator/full time whovian, situated in Chester, Cheshire UK. I live with my husband and son (who we are raising to be well-versed in all of Geekdom) and our many rabbits! I have always been obsessed with art and drawing from a young age. One of my proudest achievments from my childhood was doing a whole mural at my primary school by myself at the age of 11 because my teachers liked what I had painted in my art book. My work is inspired from all the things that I enjoy and obsess over. Basically I am a nerd that loves to draw, and I love what I do. I also raise loads of money for the Cystic Fibrosis trust by doing all kind of crazy things.

Please visit http://www.davewise.tv for reels and more. Hey, thanks for giving me a look. In 2001 I made the "Full-Time" dive into my production career. I started out in L.A., Studio City, Burbank and soon found myself working on contract for E! Entertainment in their development of the reality pilot "What a Life" starring Scott Baio, Thomas Collabro and Sherilyn Fenn., and for producers like, Lynch, Siderow, L.L.C., Alpha 60 FilmWerks' production of Windjector, the national commercial campaign by Bowflex creators, Dosho, Conductor L.A. Studios on the national Axe Men's Body Spray – Mojo Master national campaign. Other Prime Time Network Cable Television and made for television broadcasts include multiple cooking show pilots for Viacom, children's television mini series Detours and Lil’ Lamb’s. Over the next 10 years, I was shooting and editing everything from national broadcast commercials, T.V. pilots, reality shows, music videos, documentaries and feature films such as The Sixth, The Nesting and This American Life to name a few.. Currently I have over 84 completed productions under my belt. Many of these are where I was contracted as the producer/director, where the entire production was up to me and/or a team I would put together. After leaving the Los Angeles area for a different quality of life I held the position of Studio Director for By Your Side Studios in Dallas TX. from 2007 to 2010. I still work for them contractually on all of their productions. Other productions of no less impact or quality include numerous shorts films, commercials, documentaries and edutainment productions for the commercial and private sector audiences. In some productions, such as No Small Consequence and On the Scene, two individually developed, 30 minute dramatic films for a private sector client, I was able to collectively apply a myriad of skills as the Director, Camera Operator, DP, and Editor inclusively; winning three awards, one of which was for best drama. I am a team player, as well as, a one person production crew that, lights, shoots, edits etc. when needed. I've done it all and love every minute of it. As a cinematographer I’ve had a lot of experience with many types of cameras, working with all kinds of equipment and crew. Producing great video comes down to having a clear vision of what’s needed to tell the story, knowing how to get that, and an eye to discover - in the moment- opportunities when possible. I have the technical skills to pull it off without the attitude of a know it all, It's a constant learning environment. Don't let just anyone have your project. Make sure they know things like lens choices, lighting, camera moves, blocking, timing etc. This is where I really get into it and love to craft the pieces. What seems like little things can become pretty influential in the editing bay and to the final story. With Editing and Post Production I can cut on Avid or Final Cut Pro. A good edit is in the editor, not the program. It’s tough to give an answer when people ask me what I prefer or like to do most, shoot or edit. My honest answer is it all depends on what the project. I truly believe a good edit relies on good footage and story to begin with. But the real story is formed in the edit bay. I think that’s proof of the power of editing.
