Character Animator Mane 6 (www.mane6.com) I am a character animator for the upcoming freeware game: Fighting is Magic. I do the animations in flash, and post process them through Photoshop CS2. this includes indexing colors and handling palette files. Freelance Cartoonist Deviantart, on campus, etc. I am almost always working on commissioned works using Open Canvas to sketch and line the works, and Photoshop CS2 to render the scenes. After designing a character for the client, sometimes I am then commissioned a short animation using said character in Flash. I am constantly trying to learn new techniques in coloring and movement, and hope to get a more structured hands-on experience working with the software for a company or group.

Bachelors degree in fine arts Since I was a young girl, I have been interested in Nature, animals, and especially the fine arts. I have pursued these interests with a great deal of energy and have made them my life's work as well as my way of enjoying my time on this earth. I especially like to bring the two together as I do when painting nature scenes, animals and the outdoors. I increased my knowledge and abilities by attaining my bachelors degree in Fine Arts. >Advocate of child welfare and education. When I am not in my studio working on my art, I am often in the classroom teaching at risk pre-kindergarten children that are enrolled in the more-at-four program and helping them to realize their full potential. I work in many traditional media including oils on canvas, acrylics on canvas, pastels, inks, tempera, watercolours, and others on canvas, papers and other substrates. > Naturalist > Environmentalist > Fine Artist > Traditional Media Artist Supporter of many environmental groups . I have been involved in various strategies to help the environment by reducing the amount of logging being done on publicly owned lands. > Published Cartographer and Artist > Calligrapher and Poet I am also a cartographer and have had my maps published in books giving historic accounts about the beginnings of our country. I have also done several other illustrations and paintings that have been published as cover art or internal illustrations in other publications. Like many people, I find that art is everywhere in today's society, including the very words we write. I write poetry using calligraphy and then mount the works in various ways to produce some great looking, framed pieces that can inspire people as well as please the eye.

My attempt at a self description would be "self building". I am in a constant race to better myself in art. To me a graphic artist, is one who uses any medium to give a visual presentation of his or her ideas which they form within their head. So in saying such, I will always aim to be better at showing the inner workings of my mind. Recently moving back to New York City from Japan after 12 years, I have set out to create a clothing line and to present my illustrations here in the US. 2013, is the year of self progress and I have no intention of failing...lol

Communication can be hard, even for those who feel they excel at the matter. Beyond the words, we often forget that we need to convey a message. Whether it's a fictional narrative or a press release, knowing what and how to communicate an idea effectively determines the degree to which your audience will engage with your message. In developing my skills as a writer, I have conceptualized a variety of methods by which to engage specific audiences. As writing for oneself means considering only your own likes and dislikes, writing for others, or for that matter writing with a purpose requires a rhetoric all its own. As a 3.8gpa graduate of a four-year degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing, I had to write gazillions (!) of scientific health-oriented papers. Now, in my older years, I tend to write like I speak. I'm a happy, upbeat person and hopefully that oozes through my writing. I'm quite versatile in subject areas too. I can be a techie, a how-to DIY person, or a first person 'look at that!' travel writing kinda' gal. Social media comes naturally for me. I can make your business shine through Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+ or Twitter. I welcome being able to discuss any niche from any point of view, either to advance it, discuss it, or increase sales.....any aspect of niches. Editing comes naturally also as I have edited three novels that have gone on to be published. Plus I have edited seven technically advanced journals for a religious scholar. I'm superior at writing fundraising letters. It's a copywriting niche that I get absorbed in and love, love, love. If you have an organization, non-profit and/or charity, write me. I'll help you raise more funds than you can handle. Well, save a little for me! LOL I enjoy writing case studies, long ones or short ones. I have written for my own blog and other personal domains. I am AWAI-trained and still learning, I never stop. The learning process, I mean! I'd love to take on your project with enthusiasm, intelligence, an easy to get along with attitude - either for a team or one on one, and apply my writing skills to satisfy your needs, whether it's for a website, a book (oh, I can write eBooks also), editing, blog articles, long or short white pages, social media activity, case studies, or whatever it is you need in writing. Many blessings to you and I hope my skills match your needs. Thank you for considering me. SheilaKay Paris
