I get my inspiration from nature, animals and childhood stories from far and wide. This comes from growing up near a zoo, and being lucky enough to be able to visit and see the exotic animals up close, capturing them in my sketch books. I was also raised on a healthy dose of bed time stories from the Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen plus many more. These stories have stuck with me and drove me to become an illustrator. I tend to stick with the more traditional mediums like ink, watercolours, pastels and screen printing. I have a love for trying new things, I have tried many different types of mediums in the past but these few have remained my favourite.
