A picture is worth a thousand words but I like to paint as true to life as possible, I had an art gallery on Salt Spring Island British Columbia. And I have travelled the world although not to China yet. So the panda Bears character would need research. I also do Soapstone carvings, (a category I couldn't find on your directory).

Brad Dailey www.braddailey.com PROFILE My calling in life is that of a storyteller. Ball State Sports Link is an immersive-learning student organization that readies students for careers in sports production. FREELANCE PHOTOGRAPHER I freelance as a portrait, wedding, and car photographer. I pride myself in my ability to see things differently, and my willingness to get the shot that I know I want. My photographer has been called magical, surreal, and cinematic. FREELANCE CAMERA OPERATOR I have freelanced as a camera operator for several years, mostly for sporting events, but I have covered weddings, conventions, and others as well. I work hard as a camera operator, and am no stranger to the hardships that natural elements can often present. I have a cinematic eye, and excel at catching great shots, quickly. SKILLS I have a full understanding of camera operation in all regards, and can feel comfortable with any digital camera in little to no time. daxiland.victoriaverbann.com victoriaverbaan.com My name is Victoria Verbaan and I have a business in South Africa called Victoria Verbaan & the Smoking Daxi which was born as a result of this great desire to build a brand that is fun and uplifting. The range currently includes fine art limited edition prints, tote-style bags, rugs, gifting and 2 fabric collections. Art is what I love most. I studied Fine Arts at The University of Cape Town and then Art Direction and Graphic Design at the Red and Yellow School of Logic and Magic graduating as the top design student in the class of 2000. My work is the place where I have fun. It’s fairytale and fiction. Contradiction. Fashion, nature, emotion…without being too serious. I look at alot of ‘content’. Anything, anywhere, anytime…books, blogs, magazines, a face, colours, nature, cheap bits and bobs, the shop front window at Bergdorf. The alarming quality of Surrealism and of course Roald Dahl who has been a good friend for as long as I can remember. I love the challenge of my work and without it I’d be lost. I have illustrated for Marie Claire Magazine, Vodaworld Magazine, Earthcote, Cambridge Publishing, Woolworths amongst others.

I have been writing for twenty plus years, which includes a short story, Deeply Rooted,in Hadrosaur Tales #8, poems in #12 and #20. Stories in Penny Dreadful publications, New York City. Winner in the poetry contest for Heartland Herald-Echo newspaper, Smith Center, Kansas. Short story, Fur, published in Midnight Carnival. Mentioned in The Mammoth Book of Best New Horror. First novel, Quarry Baby, was on Stonegarden Press. I was chosen out of fifty people as one of the editors for the pro ezine, Aberrant Dreams. I read the stories and forwarded the best to the publisher, Joe Dickerson. 2008 Winfield Arts and Humanities writing competition second place winner for short story, The Little Tornado. I have copyrighted the story and sell it on a CD. Partner in the paying ezine, Strange, Weird, and Wonderful. I hire the artists and write different columns. Working on second novel. Finished screenplay, Home on the Range, Story of the Song, which is registered with Writers Guild of America West. I actively send it to film producers, and since the birthplace of Home on the Range is in Smith County, Kansas, it will probably be a stage play before it ever becomes a film in any form. http://selfscribes.blogspot.com to read the interview about the screenplay My new blogs are on www.popcornshapes.blogspot.com I graduated from Emporia State University,Emporia ,Kansas 1978 BFA emphasis in theatre. I have been doing digital photo-manipulations since about 1999 and have been artistically inclined all my life. Photography, digital editing, and cartooning are my strong points, I believe and have always been incorporated into my 'day jobs'. I take what I do seriously, but try to keep it amusing when I can. I have no formal training other than a year at the Art Academy of Cincinnati back in the 80s that's pretty much a haze. My photography has appeared in a variety of magazines and I've done flyers, t-shirt designs, and album cover art for various local bands. Curious to see if this site can lead me to any more work!

Art has played an astonishing role throughout my life. Everyday holds a new learning experience, just from observing ones surroundings. This can provide endless opportunity for the ideas, and talents to help you create the unseen. I am a Norwest Community College graduate with an Associates Degree in Graphic Design. I find the perspective that is bypassed daily and compose the attention.
