I like to work with photography for reference if possible but am quite capable of creating fantasy imagery just as well. I typically submit a sketch for approval and then create the final illustration from that example. My work has it's own style and tends to use bright colors. I have illustrated fantasy, realistic, and cartoon types of books for kids. Children and other grown ups are subjects that are always fun to work on. The human being is a never ending supply of illustration material, just a slight shift of the eyes can change the whole creation. I also enjoy animals, landscapes, and things (still lives).
