I like to focus on are child-orientated illustrations usually involving animals and nature. My work tends to have a playful, youthful feeling. I graduated from the American Academy of Art in Chicago, Illinois with a BFA focusing in Illustration. I work mostly in watercolor and paper sculpture, with color as my main focus. I like my art to be vibrant and eye catching. This works especially well because when you are young, a picture can become so much more than just an image on a page, and I want to be able to take someone into a bright, beautiful world. No matter what I end up doing for an illustration, I put my whole heart into my artwork, and there’s nothing else I’d rather be doing with my life than bringing joy through art to others.
