I have been a fan of fiction writing for as long as I can remember. Creating worlds, characters, plot outlines, and dialogues has always been more interesting to me than most other things. While I was growing up, I was always off in some other world I created inside my own head. As a kid, if I wasn’t outside playing, I had my nose in a comic book or a book of short stories. In school, instead of doing school work, I was writing stories in a note book. Now as an adult, things aren’t so much different. I still read comics and novels as much as I can and I write as much as I can. Yes, I still play outside, but now that consist of riding my Harley, BBQ’n, and hunting. When it comes to writing I’m open to all genres, but dark fiction will always be my favorite. The human condition will always be much scarier to me than any horror story filled with monsters; though there is nothing wrong with a good monster story from time to time. :)

My main niche is as a graphic designer, including advertisement creation, publication layout as well as file preparation for supplying to prepress. I have experience in packages including QuarkXpress, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop (Adobe CS5.5), as well as experience in both PC and Mac based systems – I own and use both every day. I have found that the knowledge that I gained while working in the print factory has helped me greatly in the design roles that I have held, making me more aware of the techniques available and also able to avoid problems at pre-press stage. My photography experience was born during school. From then I worked in photographic sales, including Jessops in a senior sales role and also photo-lab assistant manager. I also was proprietor of a photographic studio for several years.

My name is Lindsay Lambert and I have experienced many lines of work, some not mentioned here. My number one objective is to get through my college, obtain that degree and be successful. I must work in the meantime, and am a chameleon in a workplace. Not only can I multi-task, but am very quick, thorough, and efficient no matter what the task at hand may be. People-friendly, I can relate and strike up a conversation with anyone, and chances are they will leave feeling better than when they first arrived. I have great positive energy and a great willingness to work. ECPI College of technology Greensboro, NC-Bachelor’s of Science in Web Development-currently attending
