I am a skilled visual artist and audio engineer/producer/musician with several years of audio study and experience and a lifetime of art experience. On the art side of things I well-versed in multiple mediums. I specialize in airbrush, pencil, ink, watercolor, and acrylic paints, as well as digital creations put together combining electronic, photographic, and traditional medium sources. I have to say that my favorite mediums currently include pencil and ink, airbrush, spraypaint, and digital media. You can see examples of my work at: Fusionface.com and Deviantart.com/fusionface. I operate my own recording studio The Disco Trashcan as an audio engineer/producer here in Columbus, Ohio. I have recorded several full length albums and taken artists through every phase of the recording process, from initial setup and tracking, to final mastering. I also work in the live audio industry as a production assistant for national touring bands. Some bands I have worked with include Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Alice In Chains, Avenged Sevenfold, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, Kid Rock, Saliva, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, Live, and Collective Soul. Audio credits include: November 2005 - Ongoing Owner/Operator of The Disco Trashcan recording studios. - Setup and constructed studio. Engineered, produced, mixed, and mastered three full length albums, an EP, and a host of singles from different bands and personal projects - Projects range from digital instrumentals and scores to live band recording as well as on-site live recording of performances - Provided audio backing for Lamar Snowboards website

I am a recent graduate from Kent State University. I received a D.S. degree in Journalism/Mass Communication and am interesting in obtaining a position with a company that offers potential for growth. I assure you I would be highly motivated and capable to perform in a wide variety of tasks. Two years ago I completed a five-week program in recording and audio production, explained in greater detail on my attached resume. The recording Workshop program that I completed in 2009 provided me with a great amount of field experience, and allowed me to work with multiple types of audio production equipment in various studio settings. Besides the technical aspects it provided, team building and communication skills were heavily emphasized throughout the program. I have continued to take on numerous freelance projects in the audio field and have been actively involved in audio production since this workshop. In addition to my hands on training in audio, I also gained substantial writing and production experience while interning at a news radio station this past summer. I perfected my skills in news writing and communication and developed a firm grasp of on-air production. Also, I learned to work well under pressure with constant time constraints. I am very eager to begin my career. It would be great to have an opportunity to speak with you about possible employment. Many thanks for your consideration.
