My name is Chris Colon. I am 27 years old, and live in Harlem, NY. I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2006 with a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. In 2004 I started a t-shirt company called bS Shirts with another artist I met at school. We created one of-a-kind t-shirts, with designs that came straight out of our sketchbooks. We used the clothes as a canvas to create, sell, and display our artwork on the streets of New York. By using guerilla tactics, we were able to establish a strong market and create a brand for our work. bS Shirts was featured in New York Magazine, The Ave, New York News Day, AM New York and "V" Magazine. In July of 2008, we opened our first retail store in Philadelphia, PA and we were featured on one of Philadelphia's local radio stations.
