Thanks for visiting my page. I specialize in 11x17 inch 300 dpi full color D.C. / Image style comic artwork, and can do so to industry standard deadlines. Employing traditional techniques on modern platforms (Wacom Cintiq, Autodesk Sketchbook Pro, Adobe Photoshop), I deliver a professional standard of work which mimics styles from the "Image Comics" glory days. I've included some samples of works done with traditional media, alongside new pieces created entirely digitally. You can find larger versions of some of the samples here: http://athernandez_comics.portfoliolounge.com/portfolio/

I've been told I am a thirty-five year old trapped in an eighteen year old body. I am what some may call "sarcastic", however I like to think of it pure imaginable wit. I have an old fashioned dry sense of humor, and a "bubbly" personality. I refuse to sugar coat the truth and I will most certainly tell-you-how-it-is. Lucky for me, I am one of those girls who no matter the circumstances, you just can't stay mad at. I hate that people call me an over achiever like it's a bad thing. I would say the world needs more hard workers like me, but the world couldn't handle another me.

Dear Madam/Sir, This is to expresses my interest in the position of English – French – Swahili translator and interpreter. I am inspired to apply and hopefully become a member of Worcester Public Schools team. Worcester Public School’s effort to provide language diversity is a definite asset for a sustainable progress of new arrivals in the district. Therefore, I will be delighted to facilitate your effort to expand the language capacity within the school system. One of my strongest qualities is my close connection to the immigrant community and various cultures as highlighted in my work experience. My fluency in English comes as a result of an extended period of living and studying in the United States of America. However, I have completed my undergraduate degree and my previous studies in The Democratic Republic of the Congo are proof of fluency in French and other regional languages such as Swahili. I have experience in translating and interpreting in legal, school, community and medical settings. My qualities include excellent concentration and discipline and I will be glad to proof these qualities if I was considered in this particular position .Please do not hesitate to contact me with any question or concern. Sincerely, Jean-Marie Kakule
