Since the beginning of 2017 I have been working in a new role as a Video Producer for Key Media in Sydney having previously worked as a camera operator for Sky Sport, Maori Television, Triangle Television, South Pacific Pictures, Butobase Television, TVNZ and Prime Television in Auckland, NZ. Career highlights include working as a camera assistant for Television New Zealand on Dancing with the Stars, as a camera operator for Sky Sport for the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games and as a camera assistant for the production of Shortland Street. I started in Television working on Dancing with the Stars with Television New Zealand 10 years ago. That experience lead to my selection for a six month Internship with Broadcast and Film New Zealand. This was a fast track training experience in Camera Operating and Post Production. I learnt a huge amount from the Internship. The hours that I worked consistently were 85-90 hours a week with very short breaks in which I became accustomed to working long hours. Following graduation from South Seas Film and Television School I gained further television broadcasting experience through working with Sky Sport, On Site Broadcasting, and Maori Television as a contractor. In 2007 worked as a photographic re-toucher for a real estate photographer in Wellington for six months. During this time, I received on the job training with an expert in Photoshop. I also learnt the science behind photographic technology and Adobe Photoshop CS4 software. I have also worked at Prime Television for a period of four months as a Media Ingest Operator.
