I've been writing since I was a kid in elementary school - at least back to fifth grade, when I wrote a fairy tale that earned the praise of my teachers. I like to think I've come a ways since then. Most of my experience is in print journalism. I was an enthusiastic print reporter, as well as a longtime copy editor and manager. I now spend a lot of time on public relations for local non profits, for which I also volunteer. I'm a member of Lions International and a history buff. Like most writers, I love to read, both classics and what I call "junk food" books - they fill a quick need, but make me feel guilty for indulging. Traveling is my second love and if I won the lottery I'd take a trip around the world and take my friends with me. Here's the fine print: Ann Carrie Fisher Resume 2009 to present Freelance writer/editor Regular contributor to Memories of Maine magazine September - December 2010 Temporary editor, NEFCO Fire Investigations Rochester, NH Newspaper reporter and editor at Southern Maine weekly newspapers for 17 years 2006-2009 Current Publishing Westbrook, Maine Editor of three newspapers 1992-2006 George J.
