I've been a member of the workforce since I was 17, but here recently once I moved, the job hunt has come up quite dry. I'm always on the lookout for new opportunities and new things to learn. My passion has always been art, writing, and working with animals, so hopefully I can find a place in the world where I can be employed and do something that I enjoy instead of something I dread. I'm a social person and well liked, so working in a cubicle locked away from others always felt like torture. I like interacting with the public and being able to solve their problems instead of sending them further down the managment ladder and have someone else take care of them. I've written several short stories and am currently working on a few fantasy novels based off of characters that I've created throughout the years with my artwork. One of my main motivations is to get these ideas out to the masses so that others can enjoy them as well.

I am a seasoned and accomplished marketing/communications professional. My skill set is wide-ranging, but my speciality is copywriting - for print, for broadcast, and for new media. I am a talented writer, quite articulate, often translating complex ideas into clear, concise and coherent text. And when I’m finished, the copy is easy to read and easy to understand. Whether I write for business-to-business or business-to-consumer, I write to satisfy client needs and demands. And whether I crack off that perfect positioning statement, or create content for a full website, I execute the work in a timely manner and on budget. I conceive innovative ideas, and I create branding themes for products, as well as services - I take great pride in the ideas and approaches that I deliver. Throughout my career, I have serviced clients on the agency side and managed ad departments on the client side. I therefore bring a wealth of experience to every project. My background is extensive, covering the full spectrum of the marketing communications mix. And with my expertise in print, electronic and digital media, I carry each project from concept to completion. My computer skills are impeccable - primarily in the MAC environment. I am fluent in a wide range of programming applications, and proficient in digital production and commercial printing. And with my formal training in marketing and advertising, I execute my work in an environment that is highly organized and very detail oriented.
